[Saba Sports News] Recently, UEFA officially announced that it will conduct a further investigation into the misconduct of four Real Madrid players—Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Antonio Rudiger, and Dani Ceballos—after the Champions League match against Atletico Madrid. According to Spanish media reports, if the accusations are confirmed, Mbappe, Vinicius, Rudiger, and Ceballos could face suspensions and may miss the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals against Arsenal on April 8. It is reported that UEFA has appointed an ethics and disciplinary investigator to intervene, and while no deadline for closing the case has been set, video evidence provided by Atletico Madrid may expedite the process. If the players are found to have violated regulations, suspension will be one of the potential penalties. Real Madrid may argue that the players’ actions were a response to objects such as water bottles and lighters thrown by home fans.
