[Saba Sports News] According to French media reports, after Paris Saint-Germain defeated Arsenal away, some British fans were filmed imitating monkey sounds in front of the Paris players’ bus. The video shows five men standing behind the fence outside the parking lot, making monkey calls, slapping their chests, and scratching their armpits toward the PSG players’ bus. Clearly, they were imitating monkey behavior. Reports say these fans make these racially discriminatory sounds whenever members of the Paris Saint-Germain delegation with black skin pass by. Although the incident lasted for a short time, it made the Paris Saint-Germain team very dissatisfied and they decided to record the video as evidence. It is worth noting that this is not the first time Paris Saint-Germain has encountered such incidents in the Champions League. Last year, during the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Barcelona, some Barcelona fans were filmed saluting Nazi style and making monkey sounds at PSG fans at Parc des Princes. Eventually, Barcelona Club was fined 25,000 euros by UEFA for “racial discrimination by fans.”
