[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Nottingham Forest has refused to allow Sky Sports chief commentator Gary Neville to attend their home game to commentate on the crucial match against Chelsea. Sky Sports TV stated that this decision by Nottingham Forest is unprecedented. Neville originally planned to participate in the live coverage of the Sunday match between Nottingham Forest and Chelsea at their home ground. Both teams hope to secure a top-five finish in the league and earn a spot in the European Champions League for the next season. Sky Sports TV assigned two security personnel to accompany Neville and indicated that the commentary team would be stationed at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground. Due to Neville being banned from entering their home stadium to analyze the match, Sky Sports TV has decided to change the plan to broadcast the match live from their studio in West London instead. Neville decided not to participate in the coverage. Sky Sports TV expressed full support for this decision. Nottingham Forest’s action does not violate Premier League regulations, which permit clubs to decide who can participate in commentary broadcasts.
