[Saba Sports News] Recently, Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-Min confirmed his departure in a press conference. Son said, “I want to share some information – I have decided to leave the club this summer. I am grateful that the club respects my decision. Thank you again for inviting me to this event; the players are all looking forward to it and hope to put on a great game. (After a short pause) But there’s something I must clarify – deciding to leave this summer might be a difficult decision, and I feel I should state it clearly. I will give my all in the game and ensure everyone has a pleasant match. With this opportunity, I would like to emphasize that I’m not here to announce where I’m going next. Once my future is finalized, I will inform everyone immediately.” Son joined Tottenham in 2015 and has played for the club for ten years. In August 2023, he became the first captain of Tottenham. So far, Son has made 454 appearances for Tottenham, scoring 173 goals and providing 101 assists, and helped the team win one Europa League title. In the 2021/22 season, Son also won the Premier League Golden Boot.
