[Saba Sports News] Won for the third time in six seasons, Alfrancis Chua, athletic director of San Miguel Corporation, will receive the PBA Press Association’s major award on Tuesday at the PBA’s 30th annual Awards Gala at La Alaneta City, Novotmanilla.

Chua will again receive the Danny Floro Executive of the Year Award for his contribution to the Philippine Men’s national team (Gilas Pilipinas), He also manages the operations of teams such as San Miguel Beer, Barangay Ginebra, and Magnolia, all of which are perennial favorites in Asia’s first professional league.
Bones Floro, grandson of Danny Floro, was invited to personally present the award to Chae at the event, which was presented by Cignal.
Chua, who was a player and champion coach before making the transition into the corporate world, will become the second person to win the special award three times, after the late RFM team manager Elmer Yanga.
Chua previously won the Executive of the Year award in 2018 and 2022, while Yang won the award for three consecutive years from 1993 to 1995.
