[Saba Sports News] Brandone Francis and RR Garcia came up big in the Nick of time to help the Phoenix Super LPG beat Blackwater Owners 119-114 in the PBA Governors Cup, Get the first win of the season.

Francis scored all seven of the fourth quarter’s points in the final 49 seconds to help the Fuel Masters hold off a rally. The Blackwater owners once trailed by 20 points in the third quarter, but made the game tense and fierce.
Also key was Garcia, who scored 16 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter, especially to preserve the lead after the Blackwater Owners had closed to 98-102 with 6:42 left.
In the end, Phoenix managed to end their 0-7 start and although they are still in the bottom of Group B, they have a chance to compete for a playoff spot if they can win their next games against Barangay Ginebra and NLEX.
Head coach Jamike Jarin said the win did not change his team’s determination to give their all in every game.
