Azmoun failed to attend the team’s official training session without providing a valid reason, leading to his removal from the team. It was reported that Azmoun claimed to feel unwell, but his absence violated the team’s rules. As a consequence, Azmoun will no longer train with Leverkusen and will receive a personalized training plan. It is worth mentioning that Azmoun joined Roma on loan from Bayer Leverkusen last summer, with an optional buyout clause of 12.5 million euros.
