[Saba Sports News] According to reports from F1-related journalists, the 11th team entering the grid next year, Cadillac, has reached an agreement with Mercedes reserve driver Valtteri Bottas to join the team, although the contract has not been officially signed yet. At the recently concluded Hungarian Grand Prix, this 35-year-old Finnish driver told German Sky Television that he wants to return to the track. When asked whether he has already reached an agreement with any team, Bottas confirmed it, but also stated that no official deal has been made. He said, “I hope I will know what happens in August. I’m considering some long-term things, of course short-term ones too.” Previously, Perez (Sergio Perez) was considered a top candidate for Cadillac, but now Bottas has surpassed him, becoming the more popular choice due to his high visibility in the paddock. As for the second driver, many media outlets have reported that it will be Felipe Drugovich, a reserve driver from Aston Martin.
