[Saba Sports News] Before joining Molde in 2017, Erling Haaland played
for Norwegian club Bryne. Recently, Haaland made a generous donation to support
Bryne fans in attending a crucial away match in Kristiansand for the promotion
play-offs. According to British media reports, Haaland donated £10,400 to
assist Bryne fans in traveling to Kristiansand to watch the important match.
Each Bryne fan received £52 from Haaland to cover their train tickets, and
Haaland covered the total travel expenses, amounting to approximately £10,400.
Additionally, Haaland also offered to pay for bus tickets if fans preferred
that mode of transportation. Bryne club spokesman Ole Morten Hobberstad
expressed gratitude, stating, “It is wonderful that Haaland can sponsor
the travel expenses for Bryne fans. The entire Bryne community is very grateful
for this. It allows fans who may not have initially considered making the
journey to now support the team in an away match.” Haaland’s gesture
demonstrates his continued support and goodwill towards his former club.
