[Saba Sports News] According to the latest media reports, an F1 expert recently revealed explosive news during an interview, stating that there are serious internal considerations within F1 to sign former Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner. If appointed, he would replace the current Team Principal, Frédéric Vasseur. The allure lies in Horner’s resume, which boasts 14 world championship titles, and his 20-year tenure leading the Red Bull team. However, securing Horner might not be straightforward, as his precondition for joining is reportedly a request for shares, something the Ferrari team might not readily agree to. The editor believes that Ferrari is highly unlikely to recruit Horner. Ferrari has already renewed Vasseur’s contract for multiple years, and terminating it would require paying a high penalty. Furthermore, the past conflict between Lewis Hamilton and Horner may not yet be resolved, and their relationship remains quite tense. With Hamilton set to drive for Ferrari in the coming years and having publicly supported Vasseur, it seems unrealistic for Ferrari’s management to bring in Horner.
