[Saba Sports News] The Boston Celtics clinched their series against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, but Jayson Tatum remained upset over a specific incident.
During the game, Tatum was penalized with a technical foul for dismissively gesturing at referee Tony Brothers, protesting a missed foul call when he believed he was hit on the arm by Evan Mobley.
The following day, Tatum expressed his lingering frustration by posting a photo showing Mobley’s contact with his arm, captioning it with a terse remark about the technical foul he received.
“Then I get a tech,” Tatum wrote.
Despite the Celtics’ 113-98 victory, the incident left a sour note for Tatum, especially given Brothers’ history of controversial technical fouls.
