At 27 years old, Seo Seung Jae is a key player in South Korean badminton doubles. During the past Olympic cycle, he consistently competed in both men’s doubles and mixed doubles. At the 2023 World Badminton Championships, he first teamed up with Chae YuJung to defeat Zheng Siwei/Huang Yaqiong in the mixed doubles final and then partnered with Kang Minhyuk to win the men’s doubles championship, becoming the first athlete in nearly twenty years to win double titles at the same badminton world championship.
