[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Tottenham Hotspur player Manor Solomon faced Iranian bombing while returning to his home country for his wedding and is currently stranded in Israel. Reports indicate that Solomon returned to his homeland, Israel, during the break to marry his fiancee Dana Voshniak. However, their wedding was interrupted when Israel launched an attack on Iran, followed by retaliatory strikes from Iran. Due to airspace restrictions in Israel, the couple had to remain temporarily within Israel without any immediate threat to their lives. Notably, this is not the first time the couple has experienced such an incident. In 2022 during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, they were also in Ukraine. At that time, Solomon played for Shakhtar Donetsk, and Voshniak was studying at a Ukrainian university. Solomon, aged 25, is valued at €14 million according to Transfermarkt. He signed with Tottenham Hotspur for free in the summer of 2023 and was loaned out to Leeds United for the 2024/25 season, where he made 39 appearances (starting in 30) in the Championship, contributing 10 goals and 12 assists.
