[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Tottenham have suffered three consecutive Premier League defeats since Igor Tudor took charge, and the club currently sits just one point above the relegation zone. Spurs have now gone 11 league games without a win, including five straight defeats. Tottenham’s hierarchy face a crucial decision: whether to stick with Tudor or make a change — even though it may sound absurd, given he only replaced Thomas Frank three weeks ago. However, the cost of relegation would be severe, estimated at around £250 million for the club. There are no immediate plans to replace Tudor. He is expected to attend a press conference on Monday evening, before Tottenham travel to face Atlético Madrid away on Tuesday in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie. After that, Spurs face three matches in eight days: a league trip to Liverpool, the second leg against Atlético Madrid, and a home game against Nottingham Forest.
The editor believes that despite the pessimism among fans, Tottenham still have time to turn things around. With nine league games remaining, Spurs are one point ahead of West Ham and Nottingham Forest. Given their superior goal difference, they remain in control of their own relegation fight.
