[Saba Sports News] Draymond Green has become the latest pop culture icon to be depicted in Lego, although the chosen moment may not be one he’s fond of. The Golden State Warriors forward was suspended indefinitely earlier this month for an incident involving Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic during their December 12th game.
Los Angeles-based videographer Grant Giszewski has brought this moment to life using Lego and the 3D graphics software Blender. The resulting animation has quickly gone viral, attracting millions of views on social media after Giszewski shared it on his Instagram.
Since the suspension, Green has missed six games, but his absence hasn’t negatively impacted the Warriors’ performance. The team has secured five consecutive victories leading up to their Christmas Day game against the Denver Nuggets.
The NBA’s decision to leave Green’s suspension open-ended was clarified last week. With the Warriors maintaining a winning streak in his absence, there seems to be no rush for Green to return to the court soon.
