An Se-young

On March 21, Korean media reported that women’s singles world number one An Se-young has been diagnosed with a partial tear of the right adductor muscle and will require 3-4 weeks to recover, causing her to miss the Asian Badminton Championships scheduled for April 8 in Ningbo, China.

The highly anticipated 32nd Korean Badminton Association presidential election recently concluded, with badminton legend Kim Dong-moon winning the presidency with 64 out of 154 valid votes.

The Korean Badminton Association has decided not to renew the contract of the head coach of the 2024 Paris Olympic team, Kim Hak Kyun.
