On March 21, Korean media reported that women’s singles world number one An Se-young has been diagnosed with a partial tear of the right adductor muscle and will require 3-4 weeks to recover, causing her to miss the Asian Badminton Championships scheduled for April 8 in Ningbo, China.

On the afternoon of March 13, the draw ceremony and press conference for the 2025 Sudirman Cup were held, where the 16 qualifying teams were drawn into four groups.

On the evening of March 10, the Badminton World Federation officially confirmed the list of teams participating in the Sudirman Cup World Badminton Mixed Team Championships, which will be held in Xiamen, China from April 27 to May 4 this year.

From April 27 to May 4, the 19th Sudirman Cup World Badminton Mixed Team Championship will be held at the Xiamen Phoenix Sports Center.
